AAEM: WIFI in Schools Not Recommended

The American Academy of Environmental Medicine
Statement on WiFi in Schools

http://aaemonline.org/wifischool.html

Adverse health effects, such as learning disabilities, altered immune responses, headaches, ect. from wireless radio frequency fields do exist and are well documented in the scientific literature. Safer technology, such as using hard-wiring, must be seriously considered in schools for the safety of those susceptible individuals who may be affected by this phenomenon.

Approved by the American Academy of Environmental Medicine Board of Directors on June 9, 2012.

CEP Note: WIFI is not found just in schools, but increasingly, in public libraries and stores such as Barnes and Noble, and Vons grocery stores. Involuntary exposures to WIFI can lead to headaches, cardiac problems, immune responses and more. CEP takes the position that WIFI should not be allowed in public places, as it is a hazard. Under the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504, as well as other discrimination laws that pertain to access, disabilities, and medical conditions, WIFI in public places should be challenged in the courts.

CEP calls upon all schools, libraries, and stores such as Barnes and Noble and Vons, as well as other places of public accommodation, and all workplaces, to turn off the WIFI and remove it permanently, as a hazardous RF radiation exposure to the general public.

Consider removing the WIFI in your homes as well, replace with wired Internet. That is what we use at CEP. It is more secure and no emissions.
